God can use anyone for his glory!
Sometimes pastors and leaders become professional pray-ers which can cause us to feel like our prayers aren’t “good enough.”
Prayers are not for show. They are for relationship and are simple conversations with our Father.
Matthew 6:5-6: “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
Private prayer warriors are the ones who shake the gates of hell. You don’t have to pretend with God.
The reward is intimacy with God. You come to God for God.
Prayer for a bad day:
“Father, I don’t understand this. This life circumstance hurts right now. But I’m trying to trust you. Show me your plan in this.”
We need to talk to our Father like a real person because that’s who He is!
